Where are we now: A caregiver’s journey through Alzheimer’s, love, and purpose

Sponsored by Alzheimer’s Caregiving & The Caregivers

Where are we now: A caregiver’s journey through Alzheimer’s, love, and purpose On World Alzheimer’s Day, a husband shares his journey caring for his wife, Dana, and his mission to support caregivers facing Alzheimer’s.

HONOLULU (HI Now) - For seven years, Tony Vericella has been the caregiver to his wife Dana, now in the late stages of Alzheimer’s. Together, they’ve navigated heartbreaking changes while preparing their home, hearts, and purpose for what lies ahead. On World Alzheimer’s Day, they reflect on their 45 years of marriage, the lessons learned, and the mission of our nonprofit: to support and equip families facing Alzheimer’s so no one walks this road alone.
