HONOLULU (HI Now) - Jax Wood Fired Pizza is opening its 2nd location with a brand-new food truck at Sharks Cove in Pūpūkea! In addition to their Haleʻiwa Town spot, this food truck features a spacious & beautiful seating area. It’s designed as a welcoming place where people can gather, enjoy ʻono food, and experience the true spirit of aloha. The Sharks Cove food truck is set to open at the end of September, so follow Jax on social media for updates.
Known for their vegan sourdough made fresh daily, local organic ingredients, and pizzas baked over Kiawe wood, Jax offers vegan, gluten-free, and healthy options. The food truck menu will feature fan favorites including pizzas, breadsticks, and salads.
Jax isn’t just about pizza, it’s about community. Their ʻohana’s mission is to share the love of Jesus by serving people both inside and outside the restaurant. In the past few months, they’ve hosted one of their Autism Society sensory-friendly pizza classes, sponsored lunch for AccesSurf’s Wounded Warrior volunteers and veterans, and raised over $2,200 for Waialua Girls Volleyball Team with a fundraiser during dinner time. With the larger space at Sharks Cove, Jax is excited to host more events for the community.
Family owned and operated, Jax is run by siblings Isaiah, Gabriel and his wife Sarah, and Elisha Joy, who carry forward the values instilled by their parents: love Jesus, love each other, and serve others. Those values made their dream of working together a reality in 2023 when God opened the doors for them to take on Jax Wood Fired Pizza. Today, they continue to serve ʻono food, exceptional hospitality, and true aloha to the North Shore and beyond.
