HONOLULU (HI Now) - The music community comes alive in Kailua with the Keiki to Legends Concert, happening Tuesday, September 16 at 6:00 p.m. at Studio 50 Arts Marketplace. Presented by Kailua Music School (KMS) and sponsored by the Henry Kapono Foundation (HKF), this special evening showcases Hawai‘i’s next generation of talent alongside island music legends.

Audiences will be treated to performances by KMS keiki and teen bands, followed by unforgettable sets from Henry Kapono, Tavana, and HKF On the Rise Artist Ryan Perez. Together, they’ll create once-in-a-lifetime collaborations that celebrate Hawai‘i’s music across generations.

Among the rising stars is 13-year-old Genevieve Sendrey, lead vocalist of KMS band Out of the Blue. Genevieve has already wowed crowds at Capitol Modern’s First Friday event and is featured on an upcoming KMS student album blending rock, pop, and alternative sounds.
