HONOLULU (HI Now) - Chinatown is getting a fresh dose of energy this summer with the launch of ENCLV, a new monthly First Friday celebration built by locals, for locals. Set to debut on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at 1113 Smith Street, ENCLV promises to reawaken the spirit of Honolulu’s iconic arts district with a block-style event filled with live music, immersive art, and vibrant community vibes.
What to Expect
At its core, ENCLV is about reconnecting people to the creativity and culture that once made Chinatown a magnet for artists, performers, and dreamers. Whether you’re there to dance, explore, or just vibe with friends, ENCLV delivers an unforgettable night of expression and connection.
Live Performances
Get ready for a night of incredible sound as legendary local reggae band Natural Vibrations hits the stage, alongside the dynamic rhythms of Bombye. The soundtrack continues with vinyl selections curated by the soulful Nick Kurosawa, keeping the energy flowing well into the evening.
Immersive Art & Lighting
Visual artist Alec Singer brings Chinatown’s walls to life with large-scale projection mapping, transforming the streets into a living, breathing canvas. As the sun sets, the neighborhood will glow with creativity like never before.
Food & Drink
Stay refreshed with cocktails and beverages crafted by Manifest, the neighborhood favorite bar helping to fuel the celebration.
