HONOLULU (HI Now) - The Henry Kapono Foundation (HKF) shines a spotlight on Jerry Santos, legendary musician and cultural icon, during a sold-out “Mānoa Memories” performance at Mānoa Valley Theatre. As part of HKF’s Concert Series, the evening celebrates not only Jerry’s remarkable career and musical legacy, but also the Foundation’s ongoing partnership with MVT to elevate Hawai‘i’s music scene. Featuring heartfelt stories, iconic songs like “Hoa i ka Rain Tuahine,” and rising talent Kailua Moon, the concert honors the past while mentoring the future. With six shows annually, including upcoming dates in September and November, the series continues to fulfill HKF’s mission to empower, educate, and uplift through music.
