HONOLULU (HI Now) - As students gear up for the new school year, the Hawaiʻi Department of Health is reminding families of important health requirements for incoming 7th graders. All students must complete a physical exam and receive three required vaccinations—Tdap, HPV, and MCV—before their first day of school. These can be done during a well-child visit with a healthcare provider. Parents should also bring the Student Health Record Form to their appointment and return the completed form to the school.
