HONOLULU (HI Now) - Shriners Children’s recognizes Tourette Syndrome Awareness Month in May. Tourette Syndrome (TS) is a neurological disorder characterized by sudden, involuntary movements or sounds known as “tics”, which can be mild, moderate or severe. Although TS has no cure, many people lead productive, successful and happy lives.
