HONOLULU (HI Now) - American Savings Bank is proud to co-sponsor the Hui Kapili Accelerator: Building a Better Hawai’i Together, a free 10-week program held at ASB’s Campus that empowers leaders in the construction industry with critical business skills, mentorship, and connections to help them succeed and drive positive change across the state.
Created in partnership with Hawai’i Home + Remodeling, the program aims to tackle key industry challenges like talent shortages and the growing demand for affordable housing. With construction businesses facing a high failure rate and only 20% of local families able to afford a median-priced home, this initiative supports builders with tools to thrive and build a more sustainable future for Hawai’i.
Participants will receive training in areas such as:
- Strategic business planning
- Financial and budget management
- Workforce development
- Technology integration
- Community engagement
They’ll also benefit from direct access to industry experts, personalized mentorship, and collaborative, community-driven projects.
