HONOLULU (HI Now) - The YWCA Oahu, YWahine in Business Program includes its centers, the Patsy T. Mink Center for Business and Leadership Women’s Business Center, the Kokokahi Women’s Business Center and the newly launched YWCA Maui Women’s Business Center. Together they provide technical resources in Hawaii dedicated to the needs of women entrepreneurs throughout their business journey with start-up through access to capital programs and services.
Founded on April 30, 1900, YWCA O’ahu is the oldest and largest women’s membership organization in Hawai’i. Over the years, the organization has expanded its programs and services reaching women throughout the islands at three facilities on O’ahu and one on Maui.
Now celebrating its 125th Anniversary, YWCA O’ahu continues to be a leader in providing critical services and opportunities for women and young women to succeed in life. Today, its core programs include economic advancement, leadership and business development, and advocacy.
