HONOLULU (HI Now) - Festa Italiana, Hawaii’s premier Italian festival, is back for its 5th annual celebration! This two-day event brings a taste of Italy to the islands, blending Italian and Hawaiian cultures in a unique and vibrant way—where “Ciao” meets “Aloha” (CIALOHA!).
The festivities kick off on Friday, March 21, with the Passaporto Italiano VIP Experience at Velocity Honolulu (6:00-9:30 PM), a 21+ ticketed event featuring exclusive Italian food, drinks, and entertainment. The excitement continues on Saturday, March 22, with Festa in Strada, a FREE street festival at Mother Waldron Park in Kaka’ako (4:00-9:30 PM), open to all ages.
Attendees can indulge in authentic Italian cuisine—pasta, pizza, gelato, espresso, and more—alongside Italian wines, beers, and cocktails. Live entertainment includes performances by Hawaii Opera Theatre, Ballet Hawaii, and Mango Season Band. Festival highlights also feature an Artists Corner with live painting, screenings of Italian films, and a showcase of luxury Italian supercars like Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Maserati.
For those driving to the street festival, parking is available at Restaurant Row for $5 with validation (available at the Festa info tent), as well as street parking where permitted.
