HONOLULU (HI Now) - University of Hawaii Mens Volleyball players Kainoa Wade and ‘Eleu Choy share their early experiences of playing in the TransPacific Volleyball Tournament, and what the tournament means to them.
The event kicks off on Friday, January 17th with an opening ceremony and luau at the Ala Moana Center featuring entertainment from the Polynesian Cultural Center as well as performances from Johnny Suite and The Vitals. Tournament play will take place at the Hawaii Convention center and at other various locations across Oahu starting on Saturday, January 18th and wrapping up with the tournament championships on Monday, January 20th.
Tickets for the event and its opening ceremonies are available both onsite and online, ensuring accessibility for locals and visitors. For those unable to attend in person, Hawaii News Now will feature a live broadcasts of the championship match on K5 and streaming on all Hawaii News Now digital platforms at 3pm on Monday, January 20th.
