Kahulalea is a local Native Hawaiian-owned aloha wear boutique. Founded in 2013 by Kehaulani Nielson, a talented Native Hawaiian designer, artist, hula practitioner and businesswoman, Kahulalea has quickly become a beloved name in the Hawaii fashion scene.
Our boutique is renowned for its stunning clothing adorned with original artwork exclusive to our brand. Each design tells a unique story and carries deep meaning, inspired by both Kehaulani’s 30-plus years as a Hula practitioner and her lifelong love for the land she grew up in.
In 2017, Kahulalea opened a small showroom in the heart of Honolulu, marking the beginning of their retail journey. By Fall 2019, they proudly launched their first retail location at Ala Moana Shopping Center, the world’s largest open-air shopping center.
