HONOLULU (HI Now) - Make-A-Wish® Hawaii’s annual holiday fundraiser, Jingle Rock Run presented by Road Builders Corporation, returns to Ko Olina Resort on Sunday, December 15. Join Make-A-Wish Hawaii to celebrate the holiday season while giving the greatest gift to children with critical illnesses: the gift of hope.
Now in its 12th year, Jingle Rock Run is a family-friendly community event that raises crucial funds to grant wishes for children across the state. Participants can experience exciting festivities on the event lawn starting at 3 p.m., including food trucks, keiki games, activities, photos with Santa Claus, live music, and Zumba, led by a wish family! A special highlight of the event is the Keiki Sprint presented by HMSA, a fun-filled dash for keiki ages 12 and younger that starts at 4 p.m. Everyone is a winner! When the race kicks off at 5 p.m., participants will walk, jog or stroll 2.5 miles through beautiful Ko Olina Resort, passing all four lagoons, enjoying the sunset, entertainment and surprises along the route. Participants are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the event lawn activities and pre-register for the Keiki Sprint.
Jingle Rock Run registration is $40 for ages 13 and older and $30 for children ages 2 through 12 years old; children younger than 2 years old are free and do not need to register. Wish kids and their immediate families are welcome to participate in the event for free by contacting Make-A-Wish Hawaii.
Prizes will be awarded to participants in the following categories: Top Fundraising Team; Top Fundraising Individual; and Most Festive Costume. Register and learn more at jinglerockrun.com.
