HONOLULU (HI Now) - The Hawaii State Department of Education’s Adult Education Program offers a wide range of courses designed to meet the diverse needs of adult learners. Whether you’re looking to earn your high school equivalency, improve your English language skills, or pursue personal development, this program has something for you.

The Department provides integrated programs in basic education, the Hawaii adult community school diploma, family literacy, citizenship, workforce education, and life enhancement. Classes are held at ten Community Schools for Adults (CSAs) across the state, ensuring accessibility and convenience.

Enrolling in one of these programs can help you achieve your educational and career goals, boost your confidence, and provide a pathway to a brighter future. The two primary CSA campuses are located at McKinley and Waipahu high schools, with additional satellite sites for your convenience.
