HONOLULU (HI Now) - The Toyota Tacoma has been Hawai’i’s top-selling vehicle for 23 consecutive years. The all-new 2024 Tacoma has been redesigned with more off-road capability, quality and durability than before, while keeping beloved features that are perfect for any lifestyle. This will be the first-ever hybrid Tacoma! The i-FORCE MAX will be available later this year, providing the same power in a more fuel-efficient package.
Toyota Hawai’i had the pleasure of partnering with Toyota North America to host the official reveal of the 2024 Tacoma at the Mauna Lani Resort in Kona, which was broadcast nationwide. It was an honor to host it in Hawai’i and to have that national recognition of how much the Tacoma means to us locally, and how much of the Tacoma’s customer base is here in Hawai’i.
It means the world to Toyota Hawai’i to have the support of multiple generations people in Hawai’i. To show appreciation for its customers’ decades of support, they hosted a Toyota Mahalo giveaway last month, where one year’s worth of gas was awarded to the Tacoma owner with the highest mileage. Congratulations to Edward D. from Hilo for having the highest mileage at 452,000 miles on his 2002 Tacoma!
