Kuilima Farm, owned by Turtle Bay Resort and managed by Pono Pacific, Hawai’i’s largest private natural resource conservation company, is leading the charge for regenerative tourism in Hawai’i. Chefs at Turtle Bay Resort source 800 pounds of fresh produce per week from the farm, including salad greens, vegetables, herbs, and fruits for their menus. All five restaurants at Turtle Bay Resort use fresh produce grown directly across the street at Kuilima Farm, making this a true farm-to-resort operation. Kuilima Farm currently produces 2,000 pounds of produce per week and is USDA food safety certified, which means greater food security for the surrounding community and North Shore visitors.
