HONOLULU (HI Now) - SCP HILO HOTEL x HAWAII RISE FOUNDATION, in partnership with Keaukaha General Store, Kim and Kids Foundation, Hilo Medical Center Foundation and Haku Collective are excited to announce “The 3-Day 2024 Mele Manaka Community Event.” The highly anticipated three-day event celebrating Hawaiian culture, live music and the arts, free and open to the public on April 4th, 5th and 6th at SCP HILO HOTEL from 9AM - 4PM.
This three day community event will take place at SCP HILO HOTEL, formerly known as Hilo Seaside Hotel. This ʻohana event will include live music/entertainment, giveaways, free cultural workshops including lei making, t-shirt printing, coconut hat weaving and more, all taught by local artisans and community leaders. Live entertainment will begin daily at 9AM emceed by Hiloʻs very own, Alakaʻi Paleka.
