HONOLULU (HI Now) - USBG Hawaii’s goal is to empower bartenders through working with our partners, like Kō Hana Rum, to enrich the career advancement of our members through learning, expert instruction, service projects, and competition.
Since knowledge is power, their chapters hold cocktail competitions, sponsor intimate seminars with internationally recognized brand representatives, and forge relationships between top bar talent in 50 cities and counting. They offer all their members opportunities to compete, travel around the world, and spread knowledge in the pursuit of elevating our craft. USBG recently held a Member drive to recruit new interested bartenders and spirit enthusiasts, like Tiffany Tubon from Kō Hana Rum. And they welcome others to join by signing up on their website at USBG.org.
To kick off Education Week, Kō Hana Distillers will be collaborating with locally made Sugarcane Dane in a seminar “Keep It Local”. This is the first of many seminars where we will take a deep dive into the craft of Hawaiian Agricole Rum and sugarcane! We are going to be showcasing 3 different cocktails featuring Kō Hana Rum & Sugarcane Dane syrups made on Maui.
