HONOLULU (HI Now) - Fête recently unveiled their fall and winter cocktail line. Part of that lineup includes their new mai tai, dubbed THE ROYAL MA’I’I TAI, their take on the iconic tiki drink created in 1971 for the Royal Hawaiian Hotel with a own unique twist. Named in honor of their chef/owner, the wonderful Chef Robynne Maii.
The Royal Ma’i’i Tai features 3 types of rum. Of course the KōHana Fête Barrel (Agricole) and a Koji-infused Smith & Cross (Overprooof Jamaican) and Coruba (dark Jamaican float). This is paired with 4 types of fresh juice: Pineapple, Orange, Lemon and Lime. To finish it off, we include: Orgeat (almond syrup),Yuzu Curacao (yuzu infused brandy liqueur) and Simple syrup.
