HONOLULU (HI Now) - Ola Hou in ʻōlelo hawaiʻi means “new life.” In 2022 Ola Hou Designs were lead to new beginnings as they opened their very first store front in the heart of Hilo at Manono Marketplace after an amazing experience and opportunity at New York Fashion Week. Owner & Designer of Ola Hou Designs, Sharayah Chun-Lai, shares with us what it was like opening a store front, their new denim collection, and their participation in this year’s Merrie Monarch.
