HONOLULU (HI Now) - The Hawai’i Tourism Authority continues to execute the community-driven Destination Management Action Plans (DMAP) in an effort to rebuild, redefine and reset the direction of tourism as desired by the residents of each island over a three-year period. In partnership with Hawai’i Tourism Japan, they have developed ‘Mālama in Action’ to promote responsible tourism and furthermore contribute to advancing regenerative tourism.
