Donate school supplies and shred your old documents with Access to benefit Helping Hands Hawaii

Sponsored by Koko Marina Center

HONOLULU (HI Now) - No child should go without school supplies that make their educational experience productive. Many students prefer to skip classes instead of returning with last year’s used supplies and backpacks. Without support and encouragement, these students may begin to fall behind in school or develop problematic behaviors that negatively impact their learning and progress.

Each year, Helping Hands Hawaii Ready to Learn program partners with social service agencies and generous community donors to help prepare thousands of local children for the upcoming school year.

This year, Helping Hands Hawaii partners with Access for a Drive-thru, Donate and Shred event on Saturday, September 24 from 8:00-11:00am at Koko Marina Center. Make a school supply donation and shred up to 2 boxes of your old documents for free!
