University of Hawaii Cancer Center accelerates cures through cancer research in Hawaii

HONOLULU (HI Now) - The UH Cancer Center is a research organization within the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa located in Kakaʻako. It is one of only 71 National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated cancer centers in the nation. The mission of the UH Cancer Center is to reduce the burden of cancer through research, education, patient care and community outreach with an emphasis on the unique ethnic, cultural and environmental characteristics of Hawaiʻi and the Pacific.
