Aloha Harvest helps community and builds more sustainable Hawaii through food rescue

Sponsored by Aloha Harvest

HONOLULU (HI Now) - Aloha Harvest is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing quality food to nourish and strengthen our community on O’ahu. Their vision is a resilient and sustainable Hawaii where hunger and food waste no longer exist! Aloha Harvest collaborates with grocery stores, restaurants, local farmers, distributors, various businesses, and food establishments to pick up and deliver donated food to partner recipient agencies which include social service agencies, homeless shelters, and faith-based organizations. They provide these critical services 7 days a week, free of charge, almost always picking up and delivering the rescued food the same day.

Currently, Aloha Harvest is running a campaign to help them scale on Oahu and to neighboring Islands! The goal of their 30 by 30 challenge is to raise $30,000 by June 30, 2022. Help the community and those in need by visiting alohaharvest.org or on social media @alohaharvest!
