HONOLULU (HI Now) - For 100 years, the Hawaii Education Association has advocated for teaching as a profession and supported the advancement of professional learning for effective teaching and excellence in education. HEA was the original advocacy organization for Hawaii teachers and supported the creation of collective bargaining organizations for educators including HSTA, HGEA Unit 6, and UHPA.
