Amazing, powerful, and beautiful were some adjectives used to describe what Dezigns by Kamohoali’i presented on the runway. The beautiful opening display of culture became a favorite amongst the audience, followed by the amazing lineup of Kumu Micah’s fashion line. “I was taking photos and I was shaking. I couldn’t take them correctly because it was just unbelievable,” says one member of the press.
Kumu Micah says the energy in the room was fabulous and is happy that they were given the opportunity to give the world a glimpse into Hawaiian culture and fashion. With the crowds standing ovation at the end of the show, Kumu Micah became emotional as all the hard work and training paid off. “I was just trying to focus without looking at them because I was already starting to cry as we were lining up,” he says.
