Join Frolic Hawaii’s 4th Annual Poke Fest at Ka Makana Alii May 29

Poke fans, your day is near! Exclusive new poke from eight of your favorite poke shops around O’ahu are coming together in one place for four short hours on Saturday, May 29, 2021. Frolic’s 4th annual Poke Fest presented by Fresh Island Fish is happening at Ka Makana Ali’i at a zero-contact drive-thru event. That means ‘onolicious new creations from Tamashiro Market in Kalihi to Kaka’ako’s Redfish Poke, Alicia’s Market in Iwilei to Kahiau Poke in Chinatown.

It’s all by online pre-order, so here’s how it works:

1) You’ll order and pay online, choosing between a small box with 3.5 ounces of poke from each of four poke shops (14 ounces total) or the large option with poke from all eight shops (28 ounces).

2) Choose any add-on desserts.

3) Choose a pickup time between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

4) On Poke Fest day, you’ll head to the drive-thru at Ka Makana Ali’i in Kapolei. There, your poke will be loaded into your trunk or back seat!

You can even add on desserts like ube tartlets topped with ginger and coconut whipped cream from Mahi’ai Table at Foodland Farms; Uncle Lani’s poi mochi; and Sticky Fingers snacks like yuzu lemon peel gushers and gummies, freeze-dried brown sugar boba bars and li hing freeze-dried Rainbow Bites.

And don’t forget, you’ll also be able to vote for your favorite poke of the day. Tamashiro Market has won the title two years running. Who will be King of Poke Fest 2021?
