Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and while February is historically a time to send flowers to your significant other, why not spread joy to friends, family, and loved ones? Watanabe Floral is making it easy this year by offering free delivery from February 8-10, 2021. HI Now host Kainoa Carlson went to check out some of the flower shop’s special Valentine’s Day offerings.
“We always believe the best way to celebrate occasions with floral is to deliver the flowers early in the week so they can enjoy it for a long period of time!” says General Manager Monty Pereira. “Also, the product is as fresh as possible earlier in the week, so the quality is awesome and the deliveries normally arrive earlier. You don’t wait until Christmas Day to give your presents, so why wait until Valentine’s Day to give them flowers?”
Watanabe Floral is committed to the safety of its customers and staff, so the flower shop will be limiting the number of people in its showroom and reminding everyone to practice social distancing.
“Our goal is to set up the building in the most simple configuration so that when our guests arrive, we can get them what they need quickly and get them on their way safely in less than five minutes,” Pereira adds.
On Saturday, February 13, Watanabe Floral is offering a drive-thru pick-up in the back parking lot to help customers avoid the lines. For the first time ever, there will also be a grab and go area for its most popular item, one dozen Rose Masterpiece, on the Diamond Head Parking Lot of the showroom.
Special food items will also be available in store only, including its famous Chocolate Covered Strawberries from Hawaiian Paradise Candies and the new Love U 4 Eva Box from A Cake Life.
Watanabe Floral is also offering some new featured items for those who might like something a little different. Watanabe’s Valentine Enchantment features Roses, Hydrangea and Orchids. There’s also the Valentine Romance, which has Roses and Stargazer Lilies. And there’s also the shop’s newest item, the Valentine Rhapsody, a contemporary tropical take on Valentine’s Week.
