Hawaii State FCU recently opened its 10th branch in Hawaii at Salt Lake Shopping Center, and it’s designed to provide customers with more choices and options. Membership at the credit union has gone from from 80,000 to over 110,000 over the past five years. This demand led to the need to add more branches to better serve its customers and implement new technology to help them achieve their financial goals.
“We’re excited to be in the neighborhood, as this new branch fills a gap between our Pearlridge Branch and branches in Honolulu,” says Aaron Vallely, vice president of branch experience membership at Hawaii State FCU. ”
Hawaii State FCU’s Salt Lake Branch offers a full range of financial services, including high-yield savings and checking accounts, mortgage loans, Home Equity Lines of Credit, credit and debit cards, and some of the best loan rates in the state. As a leader in financial education, Hawaii State FCU is committed to helping people through every life stage to make their financial dreams come true — from depositing their first paycheck to buying a home or planning for retirement.
The Salt Lake Branch is unique in that it has a smaller footprint than its other branches, acting as a test lab for new technology that will offer alternate ways to conduct transactions. “We know some people are in a hurry when they come in and just want to quickly pay off a loan or transfer money, and now they can do that themselves if they choose,” Vallely says.
