Competitive video gaming, more commonly known as eSports, is becoming more and more popular among gamers and spectators. Hawaii Pacific University launched the state’s first collegiate eSports arena at Aloha Tower Marketplace where students can learn and have fun in a different light. With a dedicated space for competitive or casual gaming, the University hopes scholarships in this high-tech, cutting edge field will offer new career paths to its students.
