Zippy’s strongly supports local agriculture

Sponsored by Zippy’s Restaurants

Zippy’s Restaurants has always been a strong supporter of local agriculture and partners with various vendors in the community to buy local. President of FCH Enterprises, Inc, Paul Yokota, said one of the restaurant’s long-time partners is Kunia Country Farms. According to co-founder of Kūnia Country Farms Jason Brand, the farm provides 5,000  pounds of lettuce a week to make one of the eatery’s favorite dishes, Korean Fried Chicken Salad. The volume necessary to supply 24 Zippy’s locations on Oahu has allowed local producers like Kunia Country Farms to scale up business, and make large strides toward food sustainability in Hawaii.
