Sponsored by Zippy's Restaurants
In the past five years, Zippy’s Restaurants has given $4.5 million in charitable donations. One of the restaurant’s most prominent benefactors is the American Diabetes Association (ADA), receiving a total of $52,100 since 2014. Now, Zippy’s and the ADA are collaborating on a new “smarter choices” menu ahead of the annual Tour de Cure Hawaii so that Zippy’s customers can make healthier decisions in the new year.
The annual Tour de Cure event takes place on March 16, 2019 and will feature ride, run, and walk routes for all ages and fitness levels at Kapiolani Regional Park. Tour de Cure is more than just a ride, run or walk – it is a celebration of the ADA’s mission and a chance to raise funds to change the future of diabetes and disrupt the status quo. Every mile covered and every dollar raised is one step closer to a cure. The event provides a unique opportunity for businesses, clubs, friends and families to come together with the vision of a life free of diabetes and all its burdens.
