About Dole Plantation
More than 1.7 million visitors come to Dole Plantation every year.

All aboard for 2 miles and 23 minutes of pineapple fun! The Pineapple Express takes you along an educating experience on an English-made train, as a narrator shares the stories of the pineapples and agriculture in Hawaii through the fertile fields of Oahu’s North Shore. Hungry and in need of something refreshing? The Dole Plantation is famous for its delicious Dole Whip, a soft serve dairy-free frozen dessert that has become so popular that it can now even be found at Disneyland.

After enjoying your mouth watering treat, you can then work it off by walking through the self-guided Plantation Garden Tour where you can experience and look into both the past and the present of Hawaii’s famous agriculture industry. The maze takes visitors through eight mini-gardens and provides them with an up-close look at a wide variety of crops being grown on the North Shore such as banana, coffee, cacao and papaya. While walking through, you can also smell the fragrances of some of Hawaii’s most popular flowers including the plumeria, pikake, and pua kenikeni. You can also listen to an audio tour on your phone by downloading the Dole Plantation app.

Shopping can also be done at the Plantation, where you can browse and buy locally made items such as baked goods, coffee, chocolate, and even antique furniture.
