Choosing the right gift can be tough during the holidays, but there’s nothing like a card straight from the heart or a gift made by your own two hands. When it comes to cards, invitations, or anything you may need for your next craft project, head to The Paperie at Kahala Mall!

The Paperie carries a wide array of products, including greeting cards, invitations for every occasion, paper, stickers and even stamps. Some of its top sellers? Peanuts items — perfect for the Charlie Brown or Snoopy lover in your life. You can also find ┬áreusable shopping bags, or dish towels and plaques displaying uplifting or whimsical quotes.

Another thing that sets The Paperie apart? Its Flavorkids line, comprised of onesies, kids t-shirts, note cards and tote bags with cute images and sayings. You can even find gifts for your pet!

Many may remember The Paperie, as it’s been at Kahala Mall since the 1980’s. Some have even been shopping there for decades.

“My parents bought the store in 1996, the same year and month my twin brother and I were born,” says Melannie Ching. “What sets The Paperie apart is that we have so many different cards. Not only that, but a lot of them have local designs on them — things we tailor more to people from Hawaii or people who want to bring back something with a touch of Hawaii on it.”

Ching says The Paperie carries things that make people happy.

“A lot of customers come in looking for stocking stuffers, and we have a lot of small items for that,” she says. “We have a nice selection of attractive stationery for those who still write, and just a lot of cute gift items that seem to bring a smile to our customer’s faces.”
