Everyone loves a buffet, and there’s no better way to entertain guests at your wedding than with a spread from Tanioka’s Seafoods and Catering! Wedding Week continues as HI Now host Jobeth Devera gets a look at some of the dishes the local staple offers on its wedding catering menu.
The most popular set of dishes? Tanioka’s is known for its prime rib banquet menu, which includes: prime rib, your choice of chicken, a third entrée, two salads of your choice and a choice of starch. The best part? This also includes an on-site prime rib carver with upgraded display ware, plates, utensils and all necessary catering equipment.
All of the banquet menus at Tanioka’s include its experienced attendant staff who will deliver, set up, replenish and break down your buffet line. Its goal is to provide the wedding couple with peace of mind during their dining experience. It also has a service package available for couples who are interested in additional services, which includes: Bussing tables, monitoring and removing trash, passing out appetizers, beverage service, cake cutting, and plating for the couple.
Tanioka’s will be offering complimentary wedding consultations for couples who mention Wedding Week or Hawaii News Now. For more information, contact Lauren or Gabrielle at Tanioka’s at 808-671-3779 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tanioka’s is also celebrating its 40th anniversary! To mark the occasion, Tanioka’s Charity Foundation will be hosting the fourth annual “An Evening of Hope,” Saturday, January 18, 2020, at the Four Seasons Resort in Ko’Olina in honor of all that Hawaii’s hospitals do for the people of Hawaii. That being said, all proceeds from the event will be donated to support Hawaii Pacific Health hospitals: Pali Momi Medical Center, Kapiolani Medical Center, Straub Medical Center and Wilcox Medical Center.
Tanioka’s has been a family-run business for 40 years. Mel and Lynn Tanioka embarked on their business journey in 1978 in hopes of servicing the Leeward side of the island with fresh seafood. With support from family and friends, Tanioka’s has grown from a small 1,000 square foot space with a few volunteers to owning two side-by-side commercial buildings and employing over 130 employees.
