Strap in for a high-speed off-roading adventure through the Nevada desert with SunBuggy

Sponsored by Vacations Hawaii and the California Hotel and Casino

Las Vegas week continues in the Nevada desert as HI Now hosts Jobeth Devera and Kanoe Gibson gear up for a high-speed chase around the dunes with SunBuggy, the leader in off-road adventures!

SunBuggy is open daily and offers buggy, ATV, and UTV tours. Its signature attraction is the Mini Baja Chase where guests drive a real dune buggy and chase an experienced guide through 15,000 acres of desert terrain. The off-road adventure takes riders over aggressive and challenging terrain, including dunes, hills, valleys, washed out creek beds, and trails running in every direction.

The heart-pounding chase was billed as “Sin City’s Best Near Death Experience!” by Rolling Stone Magazine.

While SunBuggy regularly hosts large events with hundreds of participants, the Mini Baja Chase is kept to less than seven cars per guide to ensure that guests get a fast ride. One or two seat buggies are best suited for the chase, however larger buggies are available for families in the Las Vegas Family Fun Romp, a special package for those wishing to take the kids on a buggy ride. Buggies are easy to drive with gas, brakes, and steering just like an automatic car.

SunBuggy has been the leader in off-road adventures with the best safety record in the industry for the past 10 years. It provides an ATV orientation where evaluators ensure that guests demonstrate basic ATV skills before letting them out onto the dunes. If guests don’t pass the ATV competency test, other options are available, including a SunBuggy Dune Buggy. These include automatic operation just like a car, four-point safety harness style seat belts, and a fully integrated welded steel roll cage. The vehicles are lower and wider, making them more stable, allowing off-road driving to be more accessible to anyone with a drivers license.
