Small farmers find success with the Ag Park at Kunia

Sponsored by Bayer

In 2011, the Hawaii Agricultural Foundation, in partnership with Monsanto Hawaii and Island Palms Communities, created the Ag Park at Kunia. It’s approximately 220 acres of land that has been made available to small, local farmers in an effort to diversify local food production. The goal is to help small farmers achieve economic self-sufficiency by providing security, land preparation, technical skills and bulk purchasing opportunities. Jobeth Devera takes us there for a closer look.
