Move over, cheese foam!
Sponsored by Teapresso Bar
You’ve heard of bubble tea drinks topped off with sea foam, but what about Tiramisu foam? Teapresso Bar is now offering the new topping based on the popular dessert. HI Now host Jobeth Devera is with founder and CEO Steve Nguyen to see how it tastes.
“Cheese is very popular in your drinks right now,” Nguyen explains. He’s referring to cheese foam, another popular topping added to drinks. It’s typically made from cheese powder, or actual cheese, and is then mixed with dairy to form a thick, whipped topping. Teapresso Bar’s new signature Tiramisu foam is based on that and is made from scratch daily.
There are two ways to try the foam. Unlike your normal bubble tea, the drink comes with a tiny spoon and is capped with a special lid that allows you to scoop some out and get a taste. The second way? Mix it into up into your drink, and enjoy the new flavor!
You can also try an exclusive HI Now drink at any Teapresso Bar across the state! HI Now hosts Jobeth Devera and Kanoe Gibson, along with Executive Producer Chimaine Pouteau, created their own specialty drinks. The exclusive concoctions include Jobeth’s “Jojo Taro Coco,” Kanoe’s “K-Presso,” and Chimaine’s “Chi-Mango Passion.” Part of the proceeds from these drinks will go to help various nonprofit organizations, including the Hawaiian Humane Society, Susan G. Komen and the Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii.
