Takeout and limited seatings available starting March 16!

Sponsored by Cutter Ford

St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner! Although there’s no annual Murphy’s Block Party to look forward to, you can still enjoy your favorite St. Patty’s Day classics. HI Now hosts Kanoe Gibson and Kainoa Carlson stopped by Murphy’s Bar & Grill to start the celebration early and see what’s on the menu.

Starting Tuesday, March 16, you can reserve your spot to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Murphy’s! The bar and grill will be closed on Monday, March 15, to prepare, but seatings will be available at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m., and 7 p.m. You can even order any of your Murphy’s favorites as takeout to-go for your own St. Patty’s Day feast at home!

The menu will consist of corned beef and cabbage, lamb shank, Gaelic steak and a Caesar salad with sweet chili salmon. Then for dessert, there’s Irish Whiskey Cake, Bailey’s Cheesecake, and bread pudding!

Murphy is married to Marion Murphy, who he calls the backbone of the restaurant. They were married 27 years ago at Ashford Castle in Ireland, the same place he got the recipe for the Gaelic steak on the specials menu.

“Behind every restaurant that I know, the guy always gets all the credit,” Murphy says. “There’s always a woman doing more than her share of the work, and that’s the way it is with my wife. She’s the heart and soul of this place.”
