Hospice Hawaii works closely with the geriatric services team at The Queen’s Medical Center to make sure every patient at the end stages of life receives quality care, comfort and dignity. Doctor Shari Kogan and RN Scott Naputi with Queen’s Medical Center Geriatrics sat down with Hawaii Now host Jobeth Devera to talk about some of the key ways in which the Queen’s team works with patients both in the hospital and in their homes. The Queen’s Medical Center Geriatric Services is going to be recognized as the Healthcare Organization of the Year at Hospice Hawaii’s annual fundraising gala.
