Publish your own pizza at The Pizza Press! The California-based franchise recently opened its doors in Pearl City, and HI Now host Kanoe Gibson went to check out the 1920’s newspaper-themed pizza restaurant at Pearl Highlands Center.
With more than 50 different fresh ingredients to choose from, diners can select everything from the type of dough, sauce, toppings, and cheese they’d like on their custom-crafted pizzas. Once the pizzas are assembled, they are published and hot off the press within four minutes!
The Pizza Press also offers vegan and gluten free options for those with allergies, including its new Cauliflower crust and vegan cheese. Diners looking for healthier options can also try its signature Build your own Salads.
For those who don’t want to create their own pizzas from scratch, the restaurant’s specialty menu includes signature pizzas named after major newspapers such as The Times, The Tribune, and The Chronicle. Diners can also enjoy local and micro craft beers on tap. The eatery offers an impressive selection of up to two dozen craft beers that change regularly. The Pizza Press also offers red and white wine and hand-crafted Moscow Mules made with fresh lemons, limes, and ginger.
