Par Hawaii partners with event to bring monster trucks back to the islands
Sponsored by Par Hawaii
Earlier this year, the Monster X Tour returned to Hawaii after being away for two decades! The major motor sports entertainment event is excited to announce that it will be back again next year on April 25 and May 4, 2020. HI Now host Kanoe Gibson is with Director of Promotions for Monster X Tour Steve Pugsley and Keith Yoshida with Par Hawaii, the event sponsor, to talk more about what spectators can expect.
In 2020, families can expect another world-class line-up of trucks, including Bigfoot, the original truck that started it all. Guests will be able to see the giant, 10,000-pound trucks in action. The drivers will be competing in races, participating in wheelie contests and children will also have the opportunity to ride in the monster trucks!
“We bring the tour to Hawaii because we know families enjoy seeing the monster trucks,” Pugsley says. “There is something about being able to witness up close our whole line up of massive trucks effortlessly maneuvering on the ground and lifting up in the air. It’s an exciting feeling!”
Par Hawaii is big on supporting the community and is partnering with Monster X Tour to bring the exciting event back to Hawaii for another year.
“We know the Monster X Tour was a popular event many years ago with a loyal following. We were glad when we learned the tour was returning to our islands and we wanted to support this effort,” Yoshida says. “It’s a privilege for Par Hawaii and our fuel brands Hele and 76 to be a sponsor of this Monster X Tour again next year. It’s an opportunity for us to support an event that Hawaii families enjoy.”
So mark your calendars for the return of the Monster X Tour to Hawaii on April 25 and May 4, 2020!
