For centuries Native Hawaiians have taken it upon themselves to engage, lead, and organize in our communities. Since its founding in 1887, Kamehameha Schools has created a legacy of leadership with students, teachers, faculty and alumni, taking civic action to advance the people of Hawaiian ancestry. In partnership with ‘Aha Pūnana Leo and the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs, Kamehameha schools is continuing one of its missions to pass of the torch of leadership to the next generation.
