In Partnership with the Southern Weekend

Fly high off Oahu’s south shore with X-Treme Parasail

Soar like a bird and get beautiful views

HI Now hosts Jobeth Devera and Kanoe Gibson are on the hunt for another adventure! This time, the adrenaline junkies are headed to X-Treme Parasail for a fun day out on the water. First on the list? Parasailing!

The pair went for the x-treme experience and went up 1,000 ft. in the air to get a spectacular view of Diamond Head from Oahu’s south shore. For those looking for a more tame experience, the water sports center offers a beginner option that takes you up 500 ft. What the hosts didn’t expect? A quick dunk in the ocean before getting reeled back in!

“X-Treme Parasail has been in Hawaii for over 20 years,” says Dan Westphal, a boat captain with the company. He says parasailing is one of the coolest things you’ll ever experience. “You feel like a bird. It’s very quiet up there.” In addition to the beautiful view, if you’re lucky you’ll also be able to spot ocean life like turtles, whales and dolphins!

Want to try parasailing yourself? Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit, board shorts, a rash guard or any clothes you feel comfortable getting wet in. The life jackets will be provided.

Parasailing isn’t the only adventure the team at X-Treme Parasail offers. Consider a parasail and jet ski combo for your next adventure to get the best of both ocean adventures, or try the two activity package. Book online to get 10 percent off! The water sports center is located at the Kewalo Basin Harbor at Slip F-4.

What’s next for the hosts? Well, they opted for the three activity package so they could do it all — parasailing, jet skiing, and flyboarding. Look out for their next adventure!
