Local restaurants help feed those in need
While the pandemic has caused a lot of uncertainty for many around the world, one positive thing that’s come from it is the amount of aloha people are showing each other. Hawaii News Now has partnered with with six Oahu eateries in its “Dine Out and Donate” program to help feed those in need.
Every time you buy a special dish from any of the participating restaurants, you also donate a meal. In the mood for breakfast? There’s no better time than now to order take out from Eggs ‘N Things. HI Now host Kanoe Gibson and Kainoa Carlson are checking out the three specials you can order from the restaurant to help the cause, and Kimchi Fried Rice and a Nutella Belgian Waffle are just a few things on the menu.

In addition to Eggs ‘N Things, other restaurants participating in the Dine Out and Donate program include: MW Restaurant, Sanoya Ramen, Poke for the People Express, Inaba Restaurant, and Up Roll Cafe.

The program is scheduled to run for two weeks, then on May 25, participating restaurants will give away the donated meals at their locations.
