Do you want your home to last for generations to come? Paying attention to the design and construction of a home is a major contributor to its longevity and how it will withstand the wear and tear of daily life. Every homeowner has a personal list of design elements they want incorporated into the custom-design. Homeowner Connie Watanabe was looking for a comfy, cozy, cheerful home, with lots of sunshine that was move-in ready. She and her family worked with Graham Builders president Evan Fujimoto to make sure her property had the perfect features.
Inside Watanabe’s home, Graham Builders created a livable space. The rooms flow into each other and walls are thoughtfully placed. Watanabe said “The construction of this home is nothing but the best, from materials to workmanship. Many tradespeople have corroborated this since we bought it, and these people are experts in their field, not just lay people like us! I loved the design of this home at first sight. And it really is a home for us, not just a house. Everything fits and works well together. It feels nice to live here.”
To create a timeless design, Fujimoto says it’s important to communicate with the homeowner throughout the entire design process. Also, understanding how nature interacts with the property is key to making sure the final product is comfortable and durable.
