Looking for a place to eat? HI Now Guest Host Kainoa Carlson is headed to City Square Shopping Center to check out the restaurants still offering delicious takeout dishes while also keeping customers safe.
City Square Shopping Center offers neighborhood-friendly shopping with ample free parking in the heart of Kapalama, Kalihi. There you can experience a unique selection of international culinary delights at its award-winning restaurants where each is serving up a number of local favorites to try! Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert — there’s something for everyone!
Pancakes & Waffles is offering takeout from 6:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Drop by and place an order, call in and pick up, or get delivery through Bite Squad. Sugoi Restaurant is offering a limited menu for takeout from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. You can even pick up some of your favorite dishes from Young’s Fish Market and Utage Restaurant & Lounge.

The shopping center is also home to a clean indoor Chinatown Marketplace. It’s air conditioned and offers fresh local produce and fruit, a large variety of meats and an ever changing fresh assortment of locally caught fish. Right now, its new hours are: Monday through Sunday from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
