City Mill uses household products to keep wooden furniture looking new

HI Now host Kainoa Carlson is back at City Mill to find out what household products can help you keep your wooden furniture looking brand new!

If you have a minor scratch on your wooden furniture, you can easily buff and fill it out with some vinegar and olive oil. Dab a cloth in the mixture and wipe it on the scratch with the grain of the wood. The vinegar and oil help to buff the scratch out and give the wood a nice finish.

Water stains can make your wooden furniture look old and damaged. Did you know mayonnaise is a great tool to remove those pesky water rings? Rub a bit of mayonnaise onto the stained area and leave overnight with a paper towel on top. When ready, remove the paper towel and wipe the area with vinegar. The fat content in the mayonnaise helps to lift the stains right off the wood!
