Valentine’s Day may be just around the corner, but what about celebrating Galentine’s Day with your girl squad? There’s nothing better than hitting the salon for a fresh new look — and a cocktail while you’re at it! HI Now host Kanoe Gibson is checking out Drybar’s International Market Place salon to enjoy some pampering.
Drybar is a salon all about styling. Its tagline says it best: No cuts. No color. Just blowouts. For those looking to get ready for a special event, you can also try one of its braid or updo styles.
“We like to say it’s not just blowouts we’re selling, it’s confidence and happiness!” says shop manager Casey Bell.
At Drybar’s International Market Place salon, you’ll find a full wet bar, expanded retail, a dry styling station where you can try out the products and a selfie station! Once you’re all dolled up, you can snap a shot there and text or email the photo or boomerang to yourself. The salon even has USB outlets at the stations so you can charge your phone along with great music and magazines.
Before your appointment, grab a specialty cocktail or a glass of champagne at the wet bar.
Once you get to the shop, all you have to do is check in at the front desk. A stylist will bring you to your station and face the consultation mirror and give you a look book. After you choose your style and decide how you want to your hair to look, your stylist will take you to the wash room and give you an amazing wash. You can even add on a scalp massage for just $10!
The next step? Experience a signature blowout using Drybar’s round brush and bestselling blow dryer. Your stylist will then finish off your look with a hot tool to set the hair and finishing spray. Once you see the final look in the big reveal mirror, your stylist will walk you to the product wall to go over the professional Drybar branded hair care products used to help you to maintain or recreate the look at home.
You can make an appointment by calling in, through the app or website, or make one at the shop. Drybar also takes walk ins when there’s availability.
