Linda Lafragiola was diagnosed with breast cancer shortly after her 50th birthday. She has no family history of breast cancer which caught her off guard, luckily her diagnosis was in the early stages of the cancer.

As Linda was going through treatment, a friend asked if she wanted to participate in the Susan G. Komen walk in San Francisco. She started training and ended up walking over 1,000 miles in her first event. Linda has walked in many events since then and has made it a purpose in her life to try to make a change.

Linda has been involved with Susan G. Komen for over 10 years, putting together her own events like Beer for Boobs and Booby Bingo. This year, she decided to participate in the Race for the Cure in Hawaii! She and her team, the Awarewolfes, will be walking the 60 miles on Maui, and invites anyone to come and join her.
